I have several Table Top Christmas Trees, many of them with lights. Since I already have several that are full size, I started getting smaller ones so I wouldn’t end up with my house looking like a forest. I like to mass some of the small ones together, and others stand alone in a special place.
I have been looking for some of the best animated Christmas movies that are available now on DVD. My granddaughter is the age to watch them this holiday season and I want to make sure I make the perfect choices. She loves to watch TV and videos now, and she loves the holidays, so this is a no brainer for me to get them for her.
When you hang your Christmas stockings on the mantel, it is handy to have a special holder for them, rather than trying to nail them, glue them, or weigh them down with something heavy.. And if you don’t have a fireplace, don’t despair. You can also clip them on a bookcase shelf, freestanding shelf, a window ledge, hutch or even along a table top
Every Christmas tree needs some Snowflake Ornaments. With their fancy geometric shapes they are a perfect touch for your decorations. Although they come in a variety of materials, I prefer the shinier ones. I think they add a bit of shimmer to the tree, just like real flakes do when they twinkle in the sun.
In the past I have bought toppers and when I got them home they were too heavy or too tall for my tree. By making your own Star Topper you can make the size you need. And it is light weight too. You can paint it any color to match your color scheme for the year. This is an inexpensive project, so you could make a different one for each year to change the look of your tree.I think making a light weight topper like this is a great idea.
